Darian Jones

is a filmmaker who grew his passion and knowledge at the Baltimore Film Youth Arts Program. He became an educator due to his desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. He feels it is important to invest time in giving back; teaching is his way of repaying those who helped him along his journey.

He is interested in documenting unique and authentic perspectives, filmmaking allows me to combine my love of storytelling and history. “I compare filmmaking to being a chef, I’m dealing with raw ingredients that I have to season, cook, and plate for audiences to digest.”
